The FINE PRINT
Wallowa Llamas provides tents, eating utensils, and all meals, beginning with lunch the first day and ending with lunch the last day. Guests need to bring a warm sleeping bag and pad, appropriate clothing and personal effects. The llamas will carry up to 20 pounds of each guest’s personal gear. Anything above that must be carried by the guest. A daypack is appropriate for carrying water, rain gear and anything needed on the trail.
Our scheduled llama packing expeditions are designed for those with some backpacking experience or anyone in reasonably good physical condition with a desire to get acquainted with these unique wilderness areas. Wallowa Llamas can also arrange customized trips to meet your specific desires when scheduling allows. Wallowa Llamas is insured, licensed and is an equal opportunity service provider, operating under a special use permit from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.
Deposits in the amount of $400 per person are required to hold a party’s reservations, with the balance payable sixty days before departure. The deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations received more than 60 days before departure will receive a full refund less the deposit. Thereafter, no refunds will be given.
Wallowa Llamas retains the right to cancel or alter trips due to trail or weather conditions or for other reasons. If we cancel, full refunds will be given, or if preferred, transfers made to another trip.
A complete list of appropriate items and clothing to bring, as well as detailed directions of where to meet and a list of local accommodations for before or after the trip will be sent upon confirmation. No pets or firearms are allowed.
