Wallowa Traverse

6 Days 5 Nights
No Fixed Departure Available!

Journey 30 miles from Summit Point to Wallowa Lake across the rugged Eagle Cap Wilderness, climbing over 6,400’ ft in elevation. This adventure is our most unique with lakes, peak ascents, river crossings, and mountain passes. You may even be crossing snow in the middle of August. Stay at Crater Lake the first two nights, dayhiking and exploring the lake before traveling the South Fork of the Imnaha to Hawkins Pass. Search for the ancient Pine of the Eagle Caps and make a summit attempt at Cusick Mountain. Then travel into the Lakes Basin with a chance to rest along the shores of Glacier Lake, the most photographed spot in the Eagle Caps. Highlights include remote campsites, fascinating geology, and memories of a lifetime!
