Pine and Crater Lakes

5 Days 4 Nights
No Fixed Departure Available!

Overview

For those looking to spend a little more time in the Wilderness at higher elevations, this is the trip for you. Starting in late July, these trips visit the high and rugged Wallowas around Crater and Pine Lakes. Major peaks in the area include Cornucopia, Granite, Red, and Krag. The trip spends 2 nights at two different camps and includes more travel. The first camp takes a rest day to explore Pine Lakes, and the second camp takes an off-trail adventure to one of Wallowa Llamas’ hidden gems. Pine and Crater provide good options for swimming and fishing as well. There is plenty of time on this trip to relax in camp and challenge yourself with hiking. Expect to see plenty of wildflowers and wildlife as well.
